About
I was raised in Italy, and have worked in London as a photographer since 1984. I specialise in imagery for theatre and dance companies, as well as shooting for music labels, magazines and orchestras.
In 1997 I renovated an old East End ball-room to serve both as a home and a work-place. This has had a strong impact on my work, as it allows a more gradual and thorough approach to fulfilling a brief. At the same time it also has inspired me to pursue more personal and non-commissioned work, essential to any photographer’s development.
I’ve also travelled extensively and my work has taken me to many wonderful places such as Cuba, South Africa, India and Argentina, as well as most of Europe. These experiences have all opened my eyes, so important to a photographer. I try to bring back as much colour, new design ideas and vitality and put it into my work.
The Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal hold some of my work in their collections.
