BOURNEMOUTH SYMPHONY SHOOT at ST. GILES

As a change, Anthony Brown, the Marketing Director for Bournemouth Symphony shifted the venue for this year’s shoot from the studio in Poole that we’ve used the past three years, to the Earl of Shaftesbury’s estate at Wimborne, in Dorset.

Needless to say, one approves! Everywhere one looked there was an amazing situation, from a magnificently restored grand dining-room to a vast library,  from slightly dilapidated staircases to slightly bizarre minstrels’ galleries. The only downer was that it rained both days we were there. Had to do some tricky lighting…we’re hoping to go back when the weather improves (ahem).

This magnificent house is open to the public, but fortunately we had sole access on the two days we were there, as we created utter chaos with lighting and photo kit everywhere!

Thanks to Nick/Anthony/Joe/Dougie/Alex/Johanna/Esme/Owen/Becky, and all the wonderfully patient musicians.
