Last month, my assistant Dan Joseph and I drove to Paris, where we stayed for 2 and a half days, to shoot the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. What more could a photographer want? Paid trip to Paris!
We photographed them first at Les Colonnes du Buren, at the Palais Royal, and later out at La Cite de la Musique.
I had been advised that getting them to sit for me twice in one day, on opposite sides of Paris, might prove awkward…but they all performed brilliantly, considering that they had a big concert that evening.
My thanks to Coralia Galtier and Simon Fletcher of the COE for their efficient wrangling. They know what I mean.
