One of my recent photography commissions was shooting 24 musicians, for the new orchestral ensemble Chineke! I have worked with its founder, renowned double bass player Chi-Chi Nwanoku, for the past 20 years, in her role as principal double bassist with, and as one of the co-founders of The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
Chineke! is ground-breaking as it is the first orchestra composed entirely of musicians of colour.
It was a pleasure and an honour to be asked to contribute.
